Benches

Benches maybe the most versatile piece of furniture in a home. They have a multitude of uses, in an entryway to catch jackets and bags, at the foot of the bed to hold pillows at night, in front of a large window for reading, or by the front door as a place to hold grocery bags while you fish for your keys.

You can find some lovely mass produced benches at online retailers, but occasionally your run across one that is really special. This happened to me just recently at an estate sale. Here it is and it is for sale, but probably not for long. It is perfection.
